So, with General Election in 2019, Bollywood is prepared for the political movies. Yesterday trailer of Thackeray was out and today the film based on Ex. PM Dr Manmohan Singh (The accidental Prime Minister) is released. Both the movie will be releasing early next year.
Anupam Kher is leading as Dr Manmohan Singh. He looked to have nailed the character of the Ex-Prime Minister. The way he delivers the speech, walks are spot on in The Accidental Prime Minister.
Akshaye Khanna is acting as the media adviser Sanjay Baru during the tenure of Manmohan Singh’s time at Prime Minister’s office.
The characters of the Gandhi family, i.e. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are played by Suzanne Bernert, Aahana Kumra, Arjun Mathur respectively in the movie.
The movie highlights ten years tenure of Dr Singh’s at the PMO. Internal party issue, Major decision he had taken at the office. As the days pass at the office we see the PM struggle with the scams, controversies surrounded. The movie is based on the 2014 memoir of the same name, written by Singh’s media adviser Sanjay Baru.
Movie is set to release on January 11th.
