The country is gearing up for the bhumi puja of grand Ram Mandir on August 5th. The prime minister is all set to lay a foundation stone in Ayodhya as the country prepares to celebrate it from home due to coronavirus. Now Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has come up with a bizarre claim.
The Rajya Sabha MP claimed that former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi was the one who had laid the foundation stone for the Ram Mandir at Lord Ram’s Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.

The land was in dispute after Babri Masjid was demolished in 1992 and on November 19th, 2019 — a 5-judge bench of the Supreme Court unanimously pronounced its verdict in favor of Ram Mandir.
