Krunal Pandya had a bad day at the office yesterday. And also, he is trending as a meme on social media. Mumbai Indian yesterday met Rajasthan Royal and won the match by 57 runs. It was Krunal Pandya’s day on social media.

MI promoted Krunal Pandya to bat ahead of Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard after they were reduced to 90/3 in the 12th over. But the move didn’t reap rich rewards as Krunal scored only 12 runs off 17 deliveries with a six to his name.

The Mankad saga saw another new chapter involving R Ashwin in IPL during Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore contest in Dubai. Last year, when R Ashwin was Kings XI Punjab captain, used Mankad to dismiss Jos Buttler.

After that, the debate over the controversial form of dismissal had started. The dismissal led to widespread debate on whether it is within the “spirit of the game”.

Before the tournament, the discussion took place where the DC coach Ponting said he would not want his bowlers to dismiss anyone by Mankad.

Now, in Ashwin’s first over against RCB, the off-spinner had a clear chance of dismissing Aaron Finch using the Mankad. Finch was clearly outside his crease while Ashwin was into his run-up.

But instead of clipping off the bails, Ashwin stopped and gave Finch a warning to return to the crease. DC head coach was seen smiling in the dugout.

Paytm Launches Mini App Store, To Take On Google’s Play Store. Twitter Reacts

Paytm on Monday announced the launch of a Mini App store for Indian developers. This comes days after Google had briefly taken down the Paytm app from the Play Store. A move that led to calls for an alternative app store to challenge Google’s monopoly in the space.

Some of the apps such as 1MG, Netmeds, Dainik Bhaskar, Digit, Decathlon, and Republic Bharat are already listed on the website.

The company said that the latest launch will be open source technologies such as HTML and Javascript and give access to 150 million monthly active users on the Paytm app.

Paytm is also going to host a “Paytm Mini App Developer Conference” on October 8.

Vijay Shekhar Sharma, founder and CEO of Paytm, said in a release.

“I am proud that we are today launching something that creates an opportunity for every Indian app developer. Paytm Mini App Store empowers our young Indian developers to leverage our reach and payments to build new innovative services. For Paytm users, it will be a seamless experience that doesn’t require any separate download and enables them to use their preferred payment option.”

The Congress party is protesting against the newly passed farmer’s bill all around. The party is organizing tractor rallies across Punjab from October 4 till 6. Congress former president Rahul Gandhi also took part in the rally yesterday.

He was spotted sitting on a sofa fixed on a custom tractor. The rallies, which have been named ‘Kheti Bachao Yatra’, would cover more than 50 km, spread over three days in various districts and constituencies.
