0

The hottest story which has emerged just a few hours ago is about Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo is keen to end his nine years of stay at Santiago Bernabéu following reports that he is unhappy.

Portugal’s Superstar has a release clause of €1 billion which has been lowered by Real Madrid and are now ready to hear the offers of around €120 million claims OK Diario which might suggest that Ronaldo is nearer than ever from his Real Madrid exit. Paris St. Germain, Football Club Barcelona and all the Spanish team will not get five-times Ballon d’Or for the lowered fee.

source

There were few issues between Ronaldo and Real Madrid about the contract as Ronaldo’s demanded increase in his salary. His tax issues were also troubling him in Spain.

The coffin in the nail was Zinedine Zidane leaving Real Madrid after winning third consecutive Champions League final. Neymar to Real Madrid stories might have been disturbing the player and this might increase the chance of Real Madrid to get Neymar Jr.

Looking at the lowered price Manchester United will be the one who will put an offer on the table with Chelsea, Man City may also show interest. The wage demand of the Superstar is super high which all clubs can’t effort. Currently, all eyes are set on the World Cup.

This is the story which everyone wants to keep an eye on. Any decision to be made on his transfer will only be possible after the Ronaldo’s national duty ends.

FIFA World Cup 2018: Close Look On Portugal Vs Spain

0

On day two of FIFA World Cup, it was Cristiano Ronaldo’s night in Sochi, Russia. He marked his presence in tournament with a hat-trick. Portugal and Spain played out one of the World Cup classic. It was a 3-all draw with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring hat-trick.

Cristiano Ronaldo who never scored against Spain was in some exceptional touch. In the 4th minute of the game Ronaldo scored the penalty which he won against Nacho. In starting stages of game Portugal tactics were playing the long ball but later changed their style of play.

source

It was in 24th minute Spain striker Diego Costa with some handy footwork level up the scoreline. It was all Spain in the later stage of the first half.

Isco with one of the shots just the post to save it. It was in 44th minute Spain’s stop stopper David De Gea blunder came and against all the odds Ronaldo scored his and Portugal’s second goal to go a goal up at the break.

Hattrick hero Ronaldo to the rescue.

As the team came out for the second half. It was the Spain goal which lighted up the second half in the 55th minute again by their talisman Diego Costa. After equalising the scoreline for the second time, Nacho Fernandez with some super strike just three minutes later scored for Spain. Which of course gave lead to Spain for the first time in the game.

As the game progressed it looks like to have settled in Spain’s favour but you can’s Ronaldo had some other plans. It was in the 88th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo with a sensational effort from the free-kick to which De Dea didn’t even move.

Ronaldo completes his 51st treble, which is also 51st treble in the world cup. Portugal talisman became the 4th player in history to score in four consecutive world cup tournaments. He also became the 1st player in the history of the game to score in eight successive major tournaments.

In the other two fixture of the day. It was just a single goal in stoppage time to give Uruguay and Iran three points. Uruguay’s Jose Gimenez who scored a header from a dead ball for Uruguay’s victory. In the other game, it was Aziz Bouhaddouz who scored own goal in the 95th minute to hand Iran three points.

FIFA World Cup Russia: What To Expect From Today’s Fixture

0

The month-long festival of football has just started in Russia. The biggest sports event of the year FIFA World Cup. As the days go on it’ll only get better. As we enter day 2 of the world cup, three fixtures are waiting for us. Yesterday we saw host winning comfortably against Saudi Arabia.

Portugal against Spain will be the top game to look out in today’s fixture. In another match, Mohamed Salah’s Egypt will be against Uruguay whereas Iran will test Morocco.

Portugal Vs Spain:

The two neighbours will be fighting and both will be looking for a win to start their world cup. The two have met just once in the world cup. Spain won that encounter 1-0 in the round of 16, thanks to a David Villa goal. Counting both world cup and Euro Cup the two have encountered four times and just producing four goals.

Spain vs Portugal
source

Spain has qualified for its 11th world cup in a row and 15 in total. It is the longest ever streak of participation. On the other hand, Portugal is playing its 7th world cup, their 5th appearance in a row.

Cristiano Ronaldo was directly involved in more goals than any other player in 2018 world cup qualifiers, scoring 15 and assisting other 3. However, he has never scored against Spain.

Egypt Vs Uruguay:

Uruguay beat Egypt in their only previous meeting, defeating them 2-0 in Alexandria in August-2006. Uruguay is unbeaten against African opposition at the world cup. Egypt is playing their third World Cup and first since 1990, thanks to Mohamed Salah’s Penalty in their last qualifier.

Egypt is so far winless in the world cup drawing two and losing two of their four games. In fact, no African nation has played as many games in the competition without winning a single one.

Egypt Vs Uruguay
source

On the other hand, Uruguay has lost only one of their last eight world cup group games against the surprise package of 2014, Costa Rica. Uruguay was the first world cup winners, in 1930. They also won their second participation in 1950.

Past is done and they will be facing Egypt, Russia and Saudi Arabia and look like a favourite to progress with the power of Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani.

Morocco vs Iran:

This is the first encounter in group B. Morocco and Iran have never met at the world cup. In fact, they met once which ended up in a draw. They both look underdog in front of Spain and Portugal the favourites to progress from group B.
