In other horrifying incidents against women crime, a sub-inspector, Pankaj Jain of the Excise Department in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, has been arrested. He was raping a minor maid and making pornographic videos. Offensive materials were also found from the mobile of the accused.
Ujjain SP Rajneesh Kashyap of Ujjain received a complaint by a minor girl that she does domestic work for accused Pankaj Jain. The victim said, Pankaj Jain, is blackmailing her and exploiting her on a day-to-day basis.
Initially, police officials could not believe the complaint. After this, cops laid a trap to prove the whole matter. During this, a 17-year-old victim got a call from the accused and was called to a hotel on Indore Road.
The cops then followed Pankaj’s movement and caught him red-handed in the hotel. The mobile of accused Pankaj Jain has also been confiscated. Objectionable material has also been found from the mobile of the accused, which has been handed over to the cyber cell for investigation.
SP Kashyap said that a case under section 375 of IPC (rape), the POCSO Act is registered and the accused Pankaj is arrested.
SP Rajneesh Kashyap told that the accused was raping a minor girl for 10 months. He also made pornographic videos from his mobile. The victim’s father has cancer and belongs to a very poor family. She has two younger sisters. The aggrieved girl used to do domestic work to maintain her home and to take care of her father’s medicine.
Ujjain Divisional Commissioner Anand Sharma has suspended Excise Sub Inspector Pankaj Jain, who was involved in this abominable act.
