In one of the shocking incidents, a Man allegedly raped her 14-year-old for over three months. The incident is of Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu. The whole of the case came in light when the girl complained of stomach pain and vomiting.
The police have arrested the 40-Year-old father who is a cab driver on the charges of raping and impregnating his daughter. Allegedly, Kumar (name changed) had been raping the girl for three months.
The girl complaint of stomach pain and vomiting, her mother took her to the government hospital, where a doctor informed her mother that the victim is pregnant. When the girl’s mother confronted her daughter, she narrated her horrific ordeal.
After listing to the horrifying incident about being raped, the girl went through for the last three months, the mother approached the police station and lodged a report.
R Kopperundevi, the inspector told The Times of India:
“Based on the complaint, we inquired the minor girl and arrested Kumar. He has been booked under section 6 of the POCSO Act. Kumar was remanded in judicial custody.”
The girl is currently in the hospital and is treated. After being discharged from the hospital, the girl will be sent to the child welfare committee. If a child is sent back home, there are chances that she might turn hostile or change her statement, told an official of the district child protection unit of Nagapattinam.
