A TikTok star, Shahrukh Khan with over 40K followers is arrested along with his two partners in the greater Noida in connection with the robbery cases.
Police from Gautam Buddh Nagar on Wednesday morning arrested TikTok Star Shahrukh Khan (23) accompanied by Faizan (20), Asif (20), and Mukesh (25). Five mobile phones, one bike and ₹3250 are recovered from them.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Ranvijay Singh said:
The leader of the gang, Shahrukh is quite popular on the social media video-sharing app TikTok for his dance moves and he has more than 40,000 followers.
The police in various areas have installed CCTV cameras were the cases of robbery are reported. With the help of the CCTV footage police identified the four accused — Shahrukh, Asif, Faizan and Mukesh.
Sujeet Upadhyay, Station House Officer at Beta II police station said:
On Tuesday, we received information regarding the movement of snatchers in Alpha 2 area from where Faizan and Asif were first arrested. They revealed the bike they were riding belonged to Shahrukh after which we arrested him and Mukesh from Site V.
During interrogation, all four of them has accepted there involvement in 6 cases. Due to Shahrukh addiction to TikTok, he always laid hands-on expensive mobile phones. The police also came to know that the gang was active for more than a year.

A few months ago, 19-YO accidentally shot his friend while filming the TikTok video. The boy died. Another instance in Banglore, where a 22-YO broke the spinal cord while performing back-flip for TikTok. He was badly injured and later died in the hospital.
