Three Men In Delhi Arrested For Running Fake Education Board. Cheated More Than 10,000 Students

Delhi Crime Branch has arrested three-member for running a fake education board in Delhi along with the other parts in the country. Altaf Raja the culprit was arrested in September last year for the similar offence. Later, came out on bail and started the same in the Vikaspuri area.

Total three members are arrested who are said to be running a fake education board. The gang have already cheated more than 10,000 students from several states including UP, Bihar, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh.

The gang have made more than 20 websites to fool the students. They target the students who are weak in academics and offer them matriculation and intermediate examinations certificate with a better result for ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 within 2-3 months.

The fake board syndicate also provided documents of higher education from renowned institutes of different States in the country.

A complaint received from the Delhi Directorate of Education. A trap laid, and Altaf Raja was caught red-handed while delivering the fake certificates and mark sheets,

Police have recovered the phoney certificate, mark sheets, provisional and migration certificates, answer sheets, question papers.

According to reports in further investigation, Rampal of Rampur was also traced who stated that he had procured mark sheets and certificates of class 10 and 12 on his name from these agents of the fake board syndicate in Rampur.

He, along with three other persons, was arrested during the verification of documents issued by the board in the recruitment of UP Police in 2018, the officer added.
