Since Tanushree Dutta spoke out about harassment on Nana Patekar, which initially started India own MeToo movement. After that women came out and spoke about what they have faced. Several stand up comedians, as well as names from Bollywood came out. Rajat Kapoor recently issued an apology on Twitter after he has been accused of misbehaving with three women in three different incidents.

A Twitter user shared a post recently where two women had accused the actor of misconduct. One was a journalist who stated that while she was talking to the actor via a telephonic interview, he misbehaved through the phone and asked her questions such as ‘are you as sexy as you sound’ and asked about her body measurements.

Another woman narrated an incident where the actor would continuously call her for a film’s shoot and asked her if she knew an empty house. He wanted her to shoot for a movie with her in an empty house.

Since these post went Rajat Kapoor took to the microblogging site to issue an apology

I am sorry from the bottom of my heart- and sad that I was the cause of this hurt
to another human being.

If there is one thing more important to me than even my work,
it is to be a good human being.
And I have tried to be that person.
And now, I will try harder.

All my life I have tried to be a decent man, to do the right thing.
If however, I have slipped and through my actions or words
caused pain or hurt or trauma to absolutely anybody, please accept my
apology.

I am sorry from the bottom of my heart- and sad that I was the cause of this hurt
to another human being.

It’s a shame how this count is increasing every day. Women’s are speaking out. All started with Tanushree Dutta, AIB came, Utsav Chakraborty, Anurag Verma from HuffPost India, also Jeeveshu Ahluwalia. Rajat Kapoor, Alok Nath, Gaurang Doshi from Bollywood with Vairamuthu the Tamil lyricist as well. MJ Akbar is also accused by several women’s. It’s actually difficult to recall all the names as these are coming thick and fast.
