Prime Minister Narendra Modi today made an unannounced trip to a forward post in Ladakh. Where the Indian army is involved in a tense stand-off with China. PM visited to take stock of the situation in Eastern Ladakh.
Prime minister is accompanied by chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat and COAS General Naravane. He also met the soldiers who got injured in the violent face-off on 15th June.
PM Modi said that India had always pursued the path of peace in the world and said the weak can never initiate peace. Bravery and courage are a prerequisite for peace, he said in his address to soldiers, designed to send a message to China.
“The enemy has seen your fire and fury as well,” — PM Modi told the soldiers.
