Man Pushed In Front Of A Moving Car By Cop, Dies. Officer Suspended.

A 32-Year-Old main in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerela pushed allegedly in front of a moving car by a senior police officer.

The incident took place on Monday night when the police officer asked Sanal to move his car which he had parked on the side of the road. This incident later converted into a fight and the cop pushed him in front of the moving vehicle said the resident who witness the incident told television channels. The victim, Sanal, sustained severe injuries in the event and died later at a hospital, officials said.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said in Kozhikode that the official had suspended as the complaint was severe. A police officer by name B. Harikumar who is Deputy Superintendent has been suspended, and a case is registered under a section of murder, the police said. An assistant superintendent of police (ASP) will investigate the case, he said.

A local resident in large number blocked the road where the incident occurred and demanded that the police officer be immediately arrested.

The victim, Sanal, sustained severe injuries in the incident and died later in the hospital.
