Power Bank is one of the necessary accessories useful for all of us in our day to day life. It has become so popular that people come to sell on the train or a ferryman are also selling them. Most of the people avoid purchasing from them but, one of them in Rishikesh purchased it and later regretted.

A person named Gaurishankar who works in a Resturant purchased a portable charger from the ferryman who came in the Resturant to sell his products. A man showed him the products of various companies. The victim purchased a portable charging device for ₹200 while another victim purchased five for ₹1,000. Soon after the seller left the spot.

Later, after two hours when Gaurishankar connected his phone to the power bank for charging his device. After half-an-hour, he came back to check his phone and found that the battery drained. He connected the power bank to another phone but, ended up with the same result.

He then opened a power bank to look into the matter and was shocked to look at what he found inside. There was a combination of wet clay and a small battery of a phone on the name of Power bank. Tiny wires can also be seen inside but, the purchaser was fooled.

Portable chargers don’t come this cheap as the ferryman sell them. These should only be purchased from the reputated store.
