In other shocking incidents against girls, an 11-year-old girl was raped multiple times by 3 schoolboys. The girl is a student of 7th class. The incident happened on May 20th in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore.
The minor girl lives in a rented accommodation near Sundarapuram locality in the city. Her mother died a few years ago. She lives with her father and aunt. As both work, she very often goes on the ground floor at the owner’s home to watch television.
The owner has a son studying in a class Xth, 16-year-old. The boy is also often left along as her parents were working too. A mobile phone is given to the boy for attending online classes. One of his friends is a frequent visitor at his house.
As often, the victim reached his owner’s home on May 20th to watch T.V. As she entered she notice that the owner’s son is watching some obscene videos on his mobile. She decided to leave but the accused boy forced her to watch the video. Later, she left for her house on the first floor.
The two accused minors followed the girl to her house and entered forcefully. Then both of them raped her. They called there another friend which is also of a school. All the three accused forced her to watch the obscene videos.
Over the next week, all three went to the victim’s house multiple times and raped the minor girl. They also threatened her against disclosing it to anyone.
After the survivor complained of stomach ache, the incident came into light. After that, she was taken to the hospital. At the hospital, she was coaxed, then she narrated the heinous act of landlord’s son and his friends.
The doctor then informed the all-women police station. A case under sections 5 and 6 of the POCSO Act has been registered against the accused. The owner’s son and one of his friends are under custody. They were picked up and produced before a juvenile justice board. The search for third accused is on.
