A Township in Hyderabad Near To Ghatkesar Allegedly Poisoned 100 Stray Dogs

Around 100 stray dogs were allegedly killed in order to terminate the dogs from society. An incident took place in Sanskruthi Township in Ghatkesar, Hyderabad. On Sunday police registered the complaint.

NS Pravalika activist and chairman of Compassionate Society of Animals alleged that the members of township hired dog killers to kill stray dogs from Andhra Pradesh and the complaint was filed.

Dogs were injected with poison and were soon disposed carcasses using garbage vans before someone could notice it.

A Police Official speaking to Hindustan Times said :

“We received a complaint from an animal activist stating that about 100 street dogs have been poisoned near Infosys by local people and have been to the spot but did not find any dead dog. We are investigating the matter. If anyone is found guilty, we will charge them,” the official said.”
