A 16-year-old girl studying at a Dehradun boarding school was allegedly gang-raped by four other students of the same school, according to reports. The four boys and five school officials, including the principal, have been arrested in connection with the case.
The girl went door to door to register her complaint, but everywhere and everyone told her it’s her mistake. Not only that, all these employees and officials also threatened her to be quiet or else to throw her out of the school because of all these students remained silent for about a month.
The incident was of the last month but, it came to light on Sunday after the girl confided in her sister, according to NDTV. She told her sister that she is one month pregnant. Both the sister stayed in Hostel and had a rare visit from there parents.
In the police investigation, it was revealed that the girl had told Manju, shortly after the incident happened with her. She has been a female tells her to be quiet and blaming the girl of what all happened — which indeed was an extremely shameful act.
The victim told the police that she was silent on this fear. When she did not have menstruation four days ago, she was scared. After this director called her to his room on Saturday and asked her to be ready to go to the doctor. Not only this, it is alleged that the director threatened to remove her from school after abortion.
The crime is terrible at first and later hiding it to the benefits of the officials is a more disgraceful act. This will increase the confidence of the criminals which is extremely dangerous to society.
