Con Man From Ahmedabad Dumped 50 Women Across 25 States On Matrimonial Sites

A person in Ahmadabad took one of Bollywood’s fictional Ladies vs Ricky Bahl based on con man a way to seriously.

Julian Sinha, a 42-year-old man from Ahmedabad, has scored a half-century in conning women on matrimonial sites. He fakes himself as an army officer using images of his good looking friends. To convince unsuspecting women to marry him, and dupe them off their money.

His scam was discovered after one of the prospective brides went to the cops after being duped of ₹50,000 by the man. He allegedly asked for money to buy a house. Once she gave him the money, he stopped answering her calls or responding to her in any manner. She filed an FIR with the police. Later determining his cellular usage and data, the location of the man was determined.

DCP, Cyber Cell, Rajdeep Singh Jhala said: After a major accident, Julian had steel rods fixed in both his legs. He isn’t physically fit but can walk. Their victims ranged across 25 states of India.

As a matter of shame, Julian happens to be a son of an ex-army officer fluent in English and a school dropout. Allegedly, his crime is inspired by the movie Ladies vs Ricky Bahl.

This is not the first time that a man has claimed to marry women claiming they are claiming to get married. In 2017, after cheating about 15 women, a person was arrested from New Delhi and with Rs 50 lakh. The crime was allegedly inspired by Ranveer Singh-starrer Bollywood film ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’.
