A 4th standard student in Lucknow withdraw thousands of rupee from his father’s bank account using Paytm as he was addicted to online gaming.

The child created a Paytm account on the name of his father in 2018 and started to transfer the funds to Paytm wallet. Initially, the amount was less and the father had no clue about it. Later, the child started to withdraw more amount.

After looking at the transactions, confused father approaches the cyber cell over unauthorize transaction and raised the complaint. And as the investigation started the man was informed that it was his mobile number used for all the transactions.

The man was left stunned. On further investigation, the transactions pointed towards Paytm account used the same mobile number which the father never created.

Initially, no one doubted the child as age was on his side but later when the truth came out the kid accepted his mistake. He said he was very afraid to accept as he fears that his father might beat him.

The 4th standard student, age around 10 years slowly and quietly from December 2018 withdraw a sum of ₹35,000 from his father’s account via Paytm.

Police personnel at the Hazratganj station and cyber cell counselled the child for long and sent back home.
