The coronavirus has stopped lives. Things started to open in the country and the risk is also getting increased as the situation getting tensed across India. The number of universities, the government has canceled or postponed exams as the situation demands. ICAI was the one who was monitoring the conditions.
They postponed the exams multiple times and now finally came to the decision of canceling the May-2020 attempt for the students. On the official Twitter account, the announcement was made.

The ICAI has decided to cancel the May-2020 exams and to merge the attempt with November-2020 with all the benefits including the fee paid and exemption. The students will also have an option to change the center of examination while filling the fresh form for November-2020, ICAI mentioned.
