After the strict laws against child crimes, the rate of crime isn’t decreasing. The same history follows with the female sexual assault. It looks like the criminal aren’t threatened by the law.
In another horrifying crime, a 5-year-old baby girl was raped by her cousin in Uttar Pradesh. The baby died at the hospital in Lucknow during treatment. The accused is identified as Pappu without any information on his age yet.
IANS reports, the baby girl was sexually assaulted on Sunday. It is said that the horrifying crime took place at a wedding under Mandiaon police station limit. The baby’s mother had come to the place from Hardoi district to attend the wedding.
Pappu, the accused took the baby to play with her during the wedding and didn’t return for some time. The family member then began to search for the baby. Four hours later, the baby was found lying at a short distance from the wedding venue in a critical condition.
The baby was immediately rushed to the nearby Vivekanand hospital from where she was referred to the trauma center where she died during the treatment.
According to police, the accused Pappu is absconding after committing the crime.
Police have filed a case after a complaint was made by the baby’s father. “We are trying to arrest the accused. The body of the victim has been sent for autopsy,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP women crime).
