A 15-Year-old Ghaziabad girl was murdered by her widow mother and her brother on Thursday following an argument over her relationship with a boy. The duo was caught when they were trying to dispose off the body.
The local residents spotted the mother-son duo leaving on a scooty with a big plastic bag. They became suspicious on seeing a pair of legs inside the bag, reports Hindustan Times.
The locals gathered at the spot and stopped them later emptied the contents of the bag to horrifyingly find the girl’s body inside. The police were promptly informed and a case registered against the accused.
The family had changed 8-9 houses in the past 2-3 months as each time girl, tell the location of their new house to her boyfriend. The family had moved in the locality only 3 days earlier and people nearby had heard the mother-daughter get into a heated argument at 1.30 pm that same afternoon she was killed.
Neeraj Kumar Jadaun, superintendent of police said:
“During questioning, the woman told that she changed eight to nine rented houses in the last three months. She said that her daughter had a boyfriend, who would visit her often. Her mother objected to this and would move house frequently. This probably led to a fight and the girl was strangled.”
FIR was registered against the duo at Loni Border police station and both the accused are arrested. The body is sent for the post-mortem examination.
