After Bollywood, Comedian, Journalism India’s #MeToo movement reached the film industry in the south. Lyricist Vairamuthu being accused of sexual harassment by several women. Journalist Sandhya Menon first shared instances involving sexual harassment to call out harassers through their social media accounts.

Yesterday several women came against the lyricist and shared their story of sexual misconduct. Vairamuthu denied all the allegation against him.

All started with Tanushree Dutta, AIB came, Utsav Chakraborty, Anurag Verma from HuffPost India, also Jeeveshu Ahluwalia. Rajat Kapoor, Alok Nath, Gaurang Doshi from Bollywood with Vairamuthu the Tamil lyricist as well. MJ Akbar is also accused by several women’s. It’s actually difficult to recall all the names as these are coming thick and fast.
