#MeToo India: Female Filmmakers Supports #MeToo. Says, Will Not Work With Proven Offenders

#MeToo in India is getting a huge boost up. As the names are coming out the support for all around is increasing. The increase in support from high profile celebs with substantial social media support is necessary.

Today Meghna Gulzar in support of #MeToo tweeted a list of filmmakers who will not be working out with the proven offenders.

 

As women and filmmakers, we come together to support the #MeToolndia movement. Our respect and admiration to them as their courage has started a revolution of welcome change. We are here to spread awareness to help create a safe and equal atmosphere for all in the workplace. We have also taken a stand to not work with proven offenders.

Before Akshay Kumar cancels the shoot of Housefull 4 after the name of director Sajid Khan, have been accused by several women’s. Aamir Khan backed out from the film, Mogul after the allegations against director Subhash Kapoor came into light.

These small steps from one individual will not just stop the harassment, but will also urge the others to come forward and involve in the #MeToo movement.
