Actress Tanushree Dutta has accused actor Nana Patekar of sexual abuse. Then the campaign started #MeToo in the country. Under this campaign, many actresses and women journalists, directors and producers have broken the verdict of sexual harassment, abuse and rape. Actor Piyush Mishra’s name is also included in the list lately.

After allegations against Nana Patekar and Alok Nath, Vicky Bahl, Piyush Mishra has been charged with similar charges. Nana Patekar has issued a notice to the Cine and TV Artists Association (Cinttaa). Alok Nath had been issued a notice to the Federation of Western Cine Employees. Now, a woman has accused Piyush Mishra.
A former newspaper staffer Ketki Joshi in a Facebook post came against Piyush Mishra. In 2014 she met him as a fan in a party where Piyush Mishra was invited as a chief guest.
He then started light flirting in front of approximately 20-25 people, sang a song looking right into my eyes. Everything was pleasant until then. I took it as harmless flirting. He was drinking all through the party and was too drunk by the time of wrap up

Piyush Mishra in his response said that he had read the allegations made about him which are forwarded to him by a few journalists.
“I do not remember the stated incident as I was probably a few drinks down. But nevertheless I would like to extend my apology for making the lady uncomfortable either with my words or actions,”— Mishra told PTI
