#MeToo India: FWICE To Boycott Alok Nath, Nana Patekar, Vikas Bahl Who Have Been Accused Of Sexual Harassment

MeToo in India has gained massive momentum from last few days. Several big names came in light and are coming one after another. Big names are coming out from Bollywood, Comedian, Journalism. A total of 8 allegations as of now came against MJ Akbar from Politics and few more names as well. Now, these allegations have made FWICE take some severe actions.

With several actresses, crew members, writers and other professionals of the film fraternity spoke against harassment they have faced. The Major name came out from Bollywood are Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl and Nana Patekar who are facing massive accusations against them and hence an organisation like FWICE [Federation of Western Cine Employees] has decided to boycott these celebrities as of now.

FWICE Chief Advisor Ashok Pandit recently spoke to reports on the matter wherein he stated that they will not be working with the three celebrities. We will be maintaining this stand because they don’t want anyone to misuse power in a wrong manner.

FWICE also said they will not be following these allegations blindly and will send notice to the opposition and are expected to respond. Failing to do so none of the workers from FWICE will be working with them.


It’s a shame how this count is increasing every day. Women’s are speaking out. All started with Tanushree DuttaAIB came, Utsav ChakrabortyAnurag Verma from HuffPost India, also Jeeveshu AhluwaliaRajat KapoorAlok NathGaurang Doshi from Bollywood with Vairamuthu the Tamil lyricist as well. MJ Akbar is also accused by several women’s. It’s actually difficult to recall all the names as these are coming thick and fast.
