Season 10 of popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati is underway. The show had this major change from this season honouring people who made the country proud — calling the episode as Karmaveer. A few days ago Dr Prakash Amte — The social worker who helped out tribals was invited. This time the Indian National Hockey Team was invited.
Actor Amitabh Bachchan has said that the country is proud of the players and respect’s them. Sr. Bachchan, who is hosting the “Kaun Banega Crorepati” program, shared his photos with the players of the National Hockey team on Twitter.
He wrote, honouring the Indian Hockey team on the ‘KBC Karmaveer’ episode, there dedication, attempts to make the country victorious in every sphere and establishing India’s identity in the world cannot be compared … Respecting them is equal to respect the country. They are the pride of the country. They are the honour of the Tricolor.
He also praised the players on his blog. Sr Bachchan told the people that they would give their best wishes to the team for the Hockey World Cup to be held in Odisha in November.
The 2018 Men’s Hockey World Cup will be the 14th edition of the Hockey World Cup field hockey tournament. It is scheduled to be held from 28 November to 16 December 2018, at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, India.
