M. Visvesvaraya was a world-renowned civil engineer and was referred by many as the father of engineers.
He was so devoted to the life of engineering that his birthday is celebrated today as Engineer’s Day.
Which is why today’s Google doodle is a sketch of Sir MV with a representation of the Krishna Raja Sagara Lake and dam in the background.
Engineering was once a choice of career to every youth, but now it is downgraded being compared to the past. Today on Engineer’s Day netizens didn’t forget to celebrate the Bharat Ratna’s birthday.
As always Twitter celebrated Engineer’s Day in its own style and it was fun reading those Tweets.
