Disney today relieved the 1st teaser and trailer of The Lion King directed by Jon Favreau and starring Donald Glover, Seth Rogen and Beyonce.
Similar to 2016 The Jungle Book film, it shares director Jon Favreau, The Lion King also looks like a shot-for-shot remake,of 1994 animated classic this time.The Lion King of 1994 went on to gross close to $1 billion worldwide and was nominated for 2 academy awards. Disney’s The Lion King opens in theatres July 19, 2019.
