This year’s annular solar eclipse is set to take place on Sunday, June 21. The Surya Grahan will be visible from parts of India along with other regions of the world.
The solar eclipse will from 9:15 AM IST and will reach its peak at around 12:10 PM IST. During this time, people will be able to witness a “ring of fire” in the sky.

Preparations underway for the solar eclipse at Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium in Bengaluru.
Due to COVID-19, public will not be allowed in the campus but the Planetarium is making arrangements for online webcast.
