Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his address to the nation on Tuesday folded his hands and requested citizens to wear a mask and follow COVID-19 appropriate behavior. “I request to all of you, I want to see all of you safe and your families happy. I want to see festivals bring cheer to your lives,” said PM.
This was his seventh address to the nation since he announced a strict lockdown in March-end to check the spread of the coronavirus. Since June, the nation has been exiting the restrictions in phases in order to reopen the economy.
