After a temporary golden period for the consumers in the telecom industry, it looks like the worst has come. When Jio was launched in 2015, it bought a revolution in the telecom sector by offering free services initially which broke the backbone of all other services providers.
R-com is dead. Vodafone-Idea merged. Tata Docomo merged to Airtel. Aircel is gone far away. Airtel losing crore of revenue every year. After 4 golden years for customers, the telecom industry is taking a step back.
Recently, Jio announced 6p/m to other networks while the other maintained their free services. And now the charges are increased by Airtel and Vodafone-Idea by 40%. There is another news for all to hit. Jio is also increasing their plans on December 6 which will also be around 40%

After everyone became addicted to consuming the complete mobile data the hike in tariff isn’t helping anyone. Airtel, Idea-Vodafone have already increased the price from today and from 6th Jio too will increase the tariff.
