Today is the 130th birth anniversary of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru — The first prime minister of India. November 14th is also celebrated as children’s day and also as Bal Diwas in India in the memory of India’s 1st prime minister. Jawaharlal Nehru is also known as Chacha Nehru.
Children’s day in the country is celebrated with much enthusiasm specially in the educational institute. On Bal Divas they organize several cultural activities involving the students.
