The government bans TikTok a few days ago and Instagram comes up with a new feature similar to TikTok named Reels. Instagram reels allow users to create and share a short video similar to TikTok.
The new feature introduced by Instagram is very much similar to TikTok. The feature is currently also on test in India and is rolling out to users in India in a phased manner, and not everyone will get the Reels add-on immediately on their Instagram app.
India is joining Brazil, Germany and France where Instagram Reels was already live for testing.
Instagram Reels started to roll out on people’s phones in India, the new feature drew reactions that certainly lasted for more than 15 seconds – combined with both memes and mockery.
