The much-awaited debut movie of Janhvi Kapoor & Ishaan Khattar is out. Dhadak is a remake of much loved Marathi film Sairat. Dhadak is produced by Karan Johar and directed by Shashank Khaitan who also have Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania under his belt. The story is quite similar to Sairat as it is the official remake. But the writer and director have made enough changes for the movie to fit in the audience of Bollywood.
Dhadak Collection:
The movie was released under Dharma Production. Janhvi and Ishaan highly promoted the film. The analyst has expected to cross ₹ 30 crore mark over the weekend. Which indeed is a bumper opening for the debut stars.
Day 1 – Friday
The movie has done well in the market and looking at the debut of actors, Dhadak has done a decent business on day one. The film has earned whopping Rs 8.71 crore on Friday. Considering new faces movie has done quite well. Saturday and Sunday are in front of the movie and collection are expected to go high on the holidays.
Day 2 – Saturday
In reply to ₹8.71 crore on Friday, Dhadak saw tremendous growth on Saturday of around 27% and collected ₹11.04 crore which is a pretty good amount considering that the movie features newbies.
Day 3 – Sunday
Sunday was indeed a much pretty day for Dhadak, and the collection further increased to ₹13.92 crore. The trade analyst was expecting the first-weekend collection to be around ₹30 crore.
The total collection of the movie in its first weekend crossed the ₹30 crore mark and collected ₹33.67 crore.

The weekend is over so the collection of the movie will be dropped, but it will be interesting to watch out the collection as there is two-three released line up at the coming weekend. We’ll have to wait and see can Dhadak can stand tall with other releases as well.
