Man Files Police Complaint As He Was Unhappy With ‘Short Underwear’ That The Tailor Stitched

A bizarre incident took place between a tailor and a customer in Bhopal. The customer filed a police complaint against the tailor as he was unhappy with the size of the underwear. He filed a complaint against a local tailor for stitching underwear shorter than the usual length.

Krishna Kumar Dubey, 46-year-old said in his complaint that he had given tailor a piece of cloth which was two-meter in length to get the underwear stitched but when he received it, it was short. Mr. Dubey in his complaint said:

“I gave him two-meters of cloth to stitch my underwear, the tailor stitched shorter underwear. I asked him to re-stitch, but he denied. The tailor charged me Rs 70 and didn’t even include the cost of nara (the thread used as elastic to hold the underwear). Later, he gave me a short underwear.”

Mr. Dubey, who filed a complaint lost his job as a security guard during the lockdown. According to an NDTV report, he is struggling to make ends meet. He also said that he recently borrowed Rs 1,000 from a friend to buy essentials.

His complaint has been accepted and he has been advised to approach the local court.
