In Indore 10-YO Boy Steals ₹30 Lakh From Bank In Just 30 Seconds

In one of bizarre crime that took place in a bank — a 10-YO boy walked out with ₹30 lakh in the peak hours. The incident took place in Jawad area of MP’s Neemuch district. Neither the staff nor the customer got any clue about it.

The incident only came to light when he started sprinting upon reaching the exit that the alarm was raised and a bank guard ran after him.

CCTV footage shows a kid dressed in rags walks into the bank around 11:00 am goes into the cashier’s cubical. The boy was small enough to be hidden by the desk on the counter. The customers in the queue in front of the same counter have no idea about the thief under their nose.

He simply drops wads of notes in his bag and swiftly started walking off. The process was done in just 30 seconds. It was only after the cops looked into CCTV they came to know how the robbery took place.

The police in the CCTV discovered that the boy was guided by a man in his 20’s who hopped in the bank for around 30-minutes. As soon as the cashier stoop up from his seat to go into another cabin, he directed the minor. He darted in, stole two wads of Rs 500 notes kept on the counter, and fled.

Forensic experts have investigated the crime scene. Neemuch SP Manoj Rai said:

“The minor was short, so people standing in front of the cash counter couldn’t see him stealing the money. Several suspects have been detained. Some people who have roadside stalls in the area have been called in for questioning. The private security guard is also being interrogated.”

Police believe a gang conducted a recce of the bank for a few days and sent the minor to commit the crime.
